A Letter to America’s voters

On Tuesday, September 17th, America will celebrate National Voter Registration Day—a nonpartisan day of action observed across the country to highlight the importance of voter registration, a civic goal that unites us across ideological differences. The effort seeks to amplify the voices of every citizen by ensuring voter registration opportunities are available, widespread, and inclusive. For a full day this September, we will strive to make sure every eligible American has the opportunity to register to vote for the November 5, 2024, general election.

As partners in this endeavor, we are dedicated to raising awareness, and providing the resources needed to make voter registration straightforward and accessible. We represent a diverse tapestry of organizations from across the country—spanning different sectors, and industries, to strengthen our democracy by empowering every eligible citizen to participate in the electoral process. Our broad coalition of stakeholders is united in our belief that a vibrant democracy depends on the participation of its citizenry, and participation begins with the simple act of registering to vote.

On National Voter Registration Day, you can join us by registering to vote and encouraging family, friends, and neighbors to do the same. If you are already registered, check your registration to make sure it is up to date. Our democracy is strongest when everyone participates.
