To help ensure the further success of the holiday, [State / County / Municipal Elections Office] is also calling on community partners in [State / County / City] –including libraries, colleges and universities, nonprofits, businesses, and more–to join in this effort by signing up as an official holiday partner and preparing to host a local registration drive—either on or offline–on National Voter Registration Day this September 28.
“National Voter Registration Day is an opportunity for partner organizations across the country to get involved civically for the good of our shared democracy, and to help make up for the 2020 gap in millions of registrations resulting from the fallout of the COVID-19 pandemic” said Brian Miller, executive director of the collaborative National Voter Registration Day effort. “We are honored to support the work of thousands of partners that are planning to celebrate the holiday this year.”
